The Dexcom G6 Sensors 3-Pack contains replacement continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensors for your Dexcom G6 setup. Used with a G6 transmitter and compatible display, the system lets you check your sensor glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history throughout the day.

• No routine fingerstick calibration with a sensor code: Enter the correct sensor code during setup and follow the system's instructions. Blood glucose checks may still be needed when readings or alerts do not match symptoms or expectations.

Compatibility: use with your Dexcom G6 system

You need a Dexcom G6 transmitter plus either a Dexcom G6 receiver or a compatible smart device running the Dexcom G6 app.

These G6 sensors do not work with the Dexcom G7 app or G7 receiver. If you use an insulin pump or another connected device, confirm compatibility with the manufacturer of your specific system before purchasing.

Setup, storage and expiration

Follow the instructions supplied with your sensors, transmitter and display. Each new G6 sensor requires a two-hour warmup, during which sensor glucose readings and alerts are unavailable. Replace the sensor at the end of its session; do not restart it beyond its 10-day wear period.

Keep unused sensors in their sterile packaging in a cool, dry place at 36°F to 86°F (2°C to 30°C). Do not freeze. Check the printed expiration date before use and do not use expired sensors or sensors with damaged sterile packaging. Contact Affordable OTC before ordering if you need a specific expiration date.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Dexcom G6 Sensors 3-Pack last?

Each sensor can be worn for up to 10 days. Three sensors provide up to 30 days of sensor wear across consecutive sessions when each sensor lasts its full 10-day period. Each new sensor requires its own warmup.

Is a Dexcom G6 transmitter included?

No. This pack contains three sensors with applicators. A compatible Dexcom G6 transmitter is required and sold separately.

Can I use these sensors with Dexcom G7?

No. These are G6 replacement sensors and require G6 components. They cannot be paired with the G7 app or a G7 receiver.

Do I need a smartphone?

No. A Dexcom G6 receiver can display readings instead of the smartphone app. You still need a G6 transmitter and sensor.

Do these sensors need calibration?

Routine fingerstick calibration is not required when you enter the correct sensor code during setup. Without the code, the system requires calibrations. Follow all on-screen prompts and use a blood glucose meter for treatment decisions when CGM readings or alerts do not match your symptoms or expectations.

Is Dexcom G6 still being manufactured?

Dexcom states that G6 manufacturing ended July 1, 2026. Remaining supplies may continue to be available, but future availability is not guaranteed. Our Dexcom G7 collection is a separate option for customers who have confirmed an appropriate switch; G7 products are not interchangeable G6 replacement parts.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
