FreeStyle Libre 3 vs. Libre 3 Plus

FreeStyle Libre 3 is the standard 14-day sensor. Abbott states that this model is being discontinued as it transitions customers toward newer Libre Plus technology. Existing inventory may still be available while supplies last.

FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus extends sensor wear to up to 15 days, is indicated for people with diabetes age 2 and older, and can work with select compatible insulin pump systems. Libre 3 Plus also works with the FreeStyle Libre 3 reader.
