The Dexcom G6 Sensors and Transmitter Combo Pack brings together replacement sensors and a transmitter for your existing G6 setup. Choose this bundle when you need a new transmitter along with your next three sensors, rather than purchasing each component separately.

What's included in the combo pack?

• 3 Dexcom G6 sensors: each with its own single-use applicator and up to 10 days of wear.
• 1 Dexcom G6 transmitter: designed to be reused across sensor sessions during its operating life.

Not included: a Dexcom G6 receiver, smartphone or other display device. This combo is not a complete CGM system with a display.

30 days of sensors, not a 30-day transmitter

The 30-day supply refers to three sensors worn for up to 10 days each. Each new sensor requires a two-hour warmup without sensor readings or alerts. Actual sensor life can vary, so the supply estimate does not promise uninterrupted readings.

Dexcom specifies up to three months of use for the transmitter battery. You can continue using the transmitter with additional compatible sensors during its operating life. Follow the battery and replacement prompts; additional sensors are purchased separately.

Features of the Dexcom G6 system

• Automatic glucose updates: the system provides sensor glucose readings every five minutes after warmup.
• Trends and alerts: view glucose information and supported high and low alerts on your compatible display.
• Individual applicators: apply each sensor using its own applicator and Dexcom's instructions.
• No routine calibration with the correct sensor code: enter the code supplied with each sensor and follow all prompts. Fingerstick checks are still required in certain situations.

Compatibility and related supplies

Use the included G6 sensors and transmitter with a Dexcom G6 receiver or a compatible phone running the Dexcom G6 app. These components are not interchangeable with G7 sensors or the G7 app. If you use an insulin pump or another connected device, check its manufacturer's compatibility requirements.

Storage and expiration

Keep unused sensors in their sterile packaging until use. Follow the storage instructions and printed expiration or use-by information on each component. Do not use expired sensors or sensors with damaged sterile packaging. Sensor wear time and transmitter operating life are not the same as shelf life. Contact Affordable OTC before ordering if you need specific remaining shelf life.

Frequently asked questions

How many sensors are included?

This combo includes three G6 sensors with individual applicators and one G6 transmitter.

Does the transmitter stop working after 30 days?

The 30-day supply describes the included sensor quantity, not the transmitter's operating life. Dexcom specifies up to three months of transmitter battery use. Follow all transmitter battery and replacement prompts.

Do I need to buy a receiver?

You need either a compatible G6 receiver or a compatible phone running the G6 app. A receiver is not included, and a separate receiver is not required solely to display readings when using the compatible phone app.

Can these components be used with Dexcom G7?

No. These are G6 sensors and a G6 transmitter for a G6 setup. G7 sensors and the G7 app are different products.

Are fingersticks ever needed with G6?

Routine fingerstick calibration is not required when you enter the correct sensor code. Follow any calibration prompts. If glucose readings or alerts do not match your symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter for treatment decisions.

What should I know about future G6 availability?

Dexcom announced a July 1, 2026 end to G6 manufacturing. Remaining supplies may still be available, but future availability is not guaranteed. See Dexcom's G6 transition guidance and discuss any change of system with your healthcare provider.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
