What's included in the 90-day kit?

• 3 Dexcom G6 sensor 3-packs: 9 sensors total, each with its own single-use applicator.
• 1 Dexcom G6 transmitter: reused across sensor sessions during its operating life.

Not included: a receiver, smartphone or other display device. This is a sensor-and-transmitter supply bundle, not a complete system with a display.

Understand the sensor and transmitter lifespans

Each G6 sensor can be worn for up to 10 days. Nine sensors provide up to 90 days of sensor wear when each lasts its full session. Each new sensor requires a two-hour warmup, during which sensor readings and alerts are unavailable. The 90-day description is not a guarantee of uninterrupted readings.

Dexcom specifies up to three months of use for the transmitter battery. Reuse the transmitter with replacement sensors and follow the system's battery and replacement prompts. Sensor wear time, transmitter operating life and printed package expiration dates are different.

• Trends and alerts: view glucose trends and supported high and low alerts on your compatible display.
• Individual applicators: each sensor has its own applicator for insertion according to Dexcom's instructions.
• No routine calibration with the correct sensor code: enter the code for each new sensor and follow all prompts. Blood glucose checks are still required in certain situations.

Compatibility and matching supplies

Storage and expiration

Keep unused sensors in their sterile packaging until use. Follow each component's storage instructions and printed expiration or use-by information. Does this kit contain three sensors or nine?

It contains three sensor 3-packs: nine sensors total, plus one G6 transmitter.

Is a receiver included?

No. You need a compatible G6 receiver or a compatible phone running the G6 app. Neither is included in this kit.

Do I replace the transmitter with every sensor?

No. The transmitter is reused across sensor changes during its operating life. Replace each sensor at the end of its session and follow the transmitter replacement prompts.

Does the kit guarantee 90 uninterrupted days of readings?

No. The supply estimate assumes nine full 10-day sensor sessions. Each new sensor has a two-hour warmup without readings or alerts, and actual sensor life can vary.

Are fingersticks ever needed?

Routine calibration is not required when the correct sensor code is entered. Follow all calibration prompts. If glucose readings or alerts do not match your symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter for treatment decisions.

What should I know about future G6 availability?

Dexcom announced that G6 manufacturing ended July 1, 2026. Remaining supplies may still be available, but future availability is not guaranteed. Review Dexcom's G6 transition guidance and discuss any system change with your healthcare provider.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
