What's included

Condition, expiration and storage

This listing is for new, factory-sealed retail packaging with at least four months of remaining shelf life. It is separate from our short-dated and dinged-box offers. For a specific expiration date, contact Affordable OTC before ordering.

Store strips in their original vial at 41°F to 86°F (5°C to 30°C). Close the lid immediately and tightly after removing a strip. Wash and dry your hands before testing, and follow the package insert and your meter's instructions. Do not use strips after their printed expiration date.

No. It contains 50 Contour Next test strips. A compatible meter, lancing device and lancets are separate purchases.

Will these strips work with Contour Next ONE or Next EZ?

Yes. Both meters use Contour Next test strips. The same strip family is also used by Contour Next GEN and the other compatible Next meters listed above.

Are Contour and Contour Next test strips interchangeable?

No. These are Contour Next strips and are not for the original Contour or Contour TS meter. Always match the strip type to your meter's instructions.

How long will a box of 50 strips last?

It depends on your testing schedule and any strips used for control checks or repeat tests. Fifty strips are a quantity, not a fixed number of days. Follow your healthcare provider's recommended testing schedule.

Does Second-Chance sampling mean I can reuse a strip?

No. It allows additional blood during the same test when your supported meter prompts you. The time limit depends on the meter. Do not reuse a strip after a completed test.

Why are these also called Bayer Contour Next strips?

Contour was previously part of Bayer Diabetes Care and is now part of Ascensia Diabetes Care. Match your purchase to the Contour Next name and compatible meter, not just the older Bayer branding.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
